Platform · Terminal

Where analysis becomes execution.

The distance between seeing a setup and acting on it is where most edge is lost. The terminal removes the gap: the chart you analysed, the ladder you priced and the ticket you sent are the same surface.

What it is
A browser-based trading terminal: multi-chart workspaces, indicators computed client-side, market depth, order tickets, live positions, trade history and journaling.
Who it is for
Active traders and professional desks who need speed without installing anything, and brokers who need to hand that to their clients under their own brand.
Why it matters
Latency is not only network time. It is also the seconds spent switching windows, re-deriving position size, and checking whether an order breaches a limit.
How it connects
Fills flow straight to the journal and execution analytics. The risk engine validates every ticket before it leaves the browser and again on the server. EMIL observes the same surface and, when armed, acts through the same gate.
What happens next
A walkthrough of the order path: ticket, pre-trade checks, fill, position, journal entry — all from the same event.

Workspace

Everything the workspace opens

The terminal is organised into three areas. Trading is where positions are analysed and sent, Portfolio is where the account is understood after the fact, and Tools is the context around both.

Specification

What the terminal actually carries.

Every count here is the platform’s own. They are worth stating because an evaluator is not asking whether there are charts — they are asking which chart types, which order types, and whether the strategy they already own will run without being rewritten.

The terminal, running

The terminal: chart, watchlist, order desk and open positions on one surface, with the account’s margin state along the bottom.

Charting

  • 15 chart types, from candles and bars to Renko, Kagi and point-and-figure
  • 155+ indicators, every one computed in the platform rather than fetched from a chart vendor
  • 50+ drawing tools and 30+ timeframes, saved per workspace
  • Eight studies that exist only here, and five overlays drawn from the intelligence layer

Order entry

  • 23 order types, including the stop and OCO families and close-by
  • Netting and hedging accounts, chosen per account rather than per platform
  • Position size derived from the account balance and the live risk limit
  • Every ticket validated in the browser and again on the server before it routes

Scripting

  • Strategies and indicators written in TypeScript, not a bespoke dialect
  • Each script runs in its own sandboxed isolate, so a bad loop cannot take the terminal with it
  • Backtest and parameter optimisation against the same price data the chart draws
  • Deploy the same script to paper, demo or live without editing it

Alerts and journal

  • Alerts on price, indicators, patterns, the economic calendar, positions and news sentiment
  • Every fill journalled automatically with session, hold time, adverse excursion and outcome
  • Equity curve, Sharpe, Sortino and Calmar, a monthly heatmap and trade distribution
  • Notes and screenshots attach to the trade, not to a separate document

The workspace

  • Saved workspaces, so a layout is a thing you return to rather than rebuild
  • Depth of market and a ladder beside the chart, not behind a tab
  • Chart and order templates, and a scanner for the setup you are looking for
  • One-click hedge, and an arming switch for automation that is always in reach

What it says about itself

  • Its own latency and bandwidth, on screen, next to the prices it is quoting
  • The session clocks — Sydney, Tokyo, London, New York — and whether the market is quiet
  • Positioning across the book as a percentage, rather than a sentiment adjective
  • Open, pending, history, messages and logs as tabs on one desk

Inside the terminal

01

Resizable workspaces

One to nine charts, saved per user, restored on login. Layouts follow the trader, not the device.

02

Client-side indicators

EMA, SMA, Bollinger, RSI, MACD and VWAP computed locally so redraws do not wait on a round trip.

03

Depth and ladder

Aggregated book with one-click pricing, and a ladder that shows where size actually sits.

04

Order tickets

Market, limit, stop and OCO, with position sizing derived from the account and the active risk limit.

05

Positions and P&L

Open exposure, floating and realised P&L, and margin utilisation on the same screen as the chart.

06

Journal and analytics

Every fill annotated automatically: session, instrument, hold time, adverse excursion, outcome.

Trading leveraged products carries a high level of risk to capital. Technology can improve analysis and controls; it cannot remove market risk.

Judge it on your own instruments

We configure the terminal against your instruments and your risk limits, then place orders, breach a limit deliberately, and look at what the journal recorded.
